MANDATORY GERMAN LIABILITY PROVISIONS:

This limitation does NOT affect statutory liability that cannot be excluded under German law, particularly:

  • Liability for damages from injury to life, body, or health
  • Liability for damages from intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by us or our legal representatives/agents
  • Liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz)
  • Liability for breach of essential contractual obligations (Kardinalpflichten), limited to typical and foreseeable damages in cases of simple negligence

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality on this website is owned by Mind-Sprout (CostofX) and protected by copyright laws. You may not copy or reproduce our calculators without permission.

7. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page for 30 days.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hochheim am Main, Germany.

9. Alternative Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provided an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, which was discontinued on July 20, 2025.

According to § 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG), we are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
