What this calculator does not account for
- These are gross costs — employer subsidies and tax relief have to be subtracted yourself.
- The time cost of commuting is not priced in euros.
- Remote-work days reduce trips; enter them through workdays per week.
- For the bike only maintenance counts — purchase price and depreciation are excluded, so it always comes out cheapest by construction.
- If you fill in both a monthly pass and a day ticket, the pass wins. Leave the other field empty to compare them properly.
